Frazier Park Public Utility District Meter Replacement Project and Emergency Replacement Well and Water Supply Project

Project Overview

The Frazier Park Public Utility District, with the help of Self-Help Enterprises,  submitted an application to the State and obtained grant funding in order to replace water meters with smart meters, and replace a failing well (Well #5).

The application was approved and the State Water Resources Control Board has funded the project in the amount of $3,997,427.00.

The Replacement Well

The replacement for Well #5 (Well #7) was drilled and completed in early 2023.  Due to low yield and poor water quality the new well was not a sucess.  The well was filled and abandoned.

The Smart Meters

All residential meters have been replaced with smart meters.
